Playas del Coco is one of the oldest fishing villages in Costa Rica. Now, it also has many fine restaurants, banks and modern grocery and clothing stores. Hire a fishing boat or buy the catch of the day as they make their way to the market. Try your luck at the Casino or bargain shop in the many souvenir and gift shops around town.
